  • 90 g sugar
  • 80 ml vegetable oil
  • 80 ml warm coffee
  • A pinch of salt
  • 6 tablespoons chocolate spread (nutella)

Preparation

Step 1: Prepare the cake

  1. In a large bowl, place the eggs and sugar and using an electric mixer, whisk for 5 minutes until you have a foamy mixture.
  2. Add vegetable oil then coffee while mixing.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt by sieving and stir until you have a homogeneous mixture without lumps.
  4. Butter a 22 cm diameter mold and cover it with parchment paper. Pour in the dough.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes until the cake is cooked.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

Step 2: Make the pop cakes

  1. Cut out your cake and crumble it in a bowl by rubbing the pieces against each other.
  2. Add the spread.
  3. Using your hands, take a little dough and form small regular balls in a size of walnut and put them on a plate covered with parchment paper.
  4. Put the cake balls aside.
  5. In a bowl, put the chocolate and melt it then dip the end of a stick in it and insert it into a ball. Put in the refrigerator for 5 minutes
  6. Dip your cake pops in melted chocolate.
  7. Reserve in the fridge until serving.
