Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 150 g flour
- 7 g cocoa powder
- 90 g sugar
- 80 ml vegetable oil
- 80 ml warm coffee
- A pinch of salt
- 6 tablespoons chocolate spread (nutella)
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the cake
- In a large bowl, place the eggs and sugar and using an electric mixer, whisk for 5 minutes until you have a foamy mixture.
- Add vegetable oil then coffee while mixing.
- Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt by sieving and stir until you have a homogeneous mixture without lumps.
- Butter a 22 cm diameter mold and cover it with parchment paper. Pour in the dough.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes until the cake is cooked.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Step 2: Make the pop cakes
- Cut out your cake and crumble it in a bowl by rubbing the pieces against each other.
- Add the spread.
- Using your hands, take a little dough and form small regular balls in a size of walnut and put them on a plate covered with parchment paper.
- Put the cake balls aside.
- In a bowl, put the chocolate and melt it then dip the end of a stick in it and insert it into a ball. Put in the refrigerator for 5 minutes
- Dip your cake pops in melted chocolate.
- Reserve in the fridge until serving.
